This is a translation. If the Greek and English versions differ, the Greek version applies.
Nexar collects only the data it needs to reply to you and to run the apps you use. We do not sell it, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party visitor analytics.
Who we are
Data controller: Anastasios Gavriliadis (Nexar). Contact for privacy matters: info@nexar.gr.
This policy covers nexar.gr, my.nexar.gr and the Nexar apps that run through them (NexarSpin, NexarBill, NexarTrack, NexarPulse). NexarScope has its own privacy policy and does not collect any data.
What we collect and why
| When | What data | Why | Legal basis | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visiting the site | IP address, time, page, browser type (server log) | Security and troubleshooting | Legitimate interest | As long as the hosting provider keeps it |
| Contact form | Name, email, station, message | To reply to you and set up a trial or quote | Steps before a contract / legitimate interest | Not stored on the site. It arrives as an email and is kept for as long as the conversation lasts, at most 24 months |
| Form spam protection | Encoded form of the IP | To stop one computer sending dozens of messages | Legitimate interest | 10 minutes |
| Customer account (Nexar ID) | Name, email, username, password (encrypted only), licences and their dates, staff users and permissions | So you can sign in and your apps work | Contract | While you are a customer and 6 months after it ends |
| Account log | Which user did what and when (e.g. deleting a station, restoring a backup) | Security of your account; you can see it too | Contract / legitimate interest | 12 months |
| Support requests | The message and any images you attach | To solve your problem | Contract | 24 months after closing |
| Licence check for desktop programs (e.g. NexarPulse) | Licence key, computer identifier, program version | To check the licence is valid and detect copies of the key | Contract | While the licence is valid |
The data you put into the apps
Your music library, schedules, clients and invoices, logs and listener data belong to you. You are the controller and Nexar processes them only to provide the service to you (processor, Article 28 GDPR). We do not use them for any other purpose and other customers cannot see them.
If you ask for help, a Nexar person may enter your account for a limited time. Every such access is logged.
Who receives the data
- Hosting provider: Pointer, Greece (where the site and the database live).
- Email provider: Microsoft (Outlook), for form messages and account emails.
- Accountant, only for invoicing details.
- Public authorities, only when the law requires it.
The site and the database stay in Greece. Emails are hosted by Microsoft, which may store them outside the European Union; Microsoft is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How we protect it
HTTPS-only connections, encrypted passwords only, a limit on wrong sign-in attempts, each customer sees only their own data, and their staff only what they are allowed to.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or take your data with you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Write to info@nexar.gr and we will reply within one month. If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Changes
If anything important changes, we will post it here with a new date and inform customers by email.
