Playlists for radio stations

Music programming with your own identity. From the format and the clocks to every day's playlist, ready for air.

Music that holds together, every hour

What listeners remember is which songs play and in what order. A song at the wrong hour, the same artist twice in one hour, a schedule that sounds the same every day: small mistakes listeners never mention, but always notice.

We build your station's playlist with 28 years of radio experience and our own tools. We design categories, clocks and rotation rules so the schedule serves your station's sound and stays fresh, consistently. You run the station; the music is our job.

What makes the difference

  • People who know air

28 years in radio. Your playlist is designed and checked by someone who knows how an hour sounds on air.

  • A view of the market

With NexarTrack we log what the stations we follow are playing. New songs enter your schedule at the right moment, not too early and not too late.

  • Listening data

With NexarPulse we see how online listening changes across the schedule. We weigh the findings together with our experience, never on their own.

  • Rules and checks

Artist and title separation, tempo, energy, era. The schedule is built with NexarSpin, which connects and works with every radio automation system, and it is checked before it goes to air.

  • First plays in your area

We work with every record label. That is how we secure first plays exclusively for each station's area: the new song is heard first on your frequency.

Example

Artist separation

105 minutes · rule: at least 9008:1510:0008:0009:0010:0011:0012:00
  • The same artist
  • Other songs
The same artist plays again only after the time the rule sets.

Our services

  • Daily playlist

Every day's playlist, ready for air, on a monthly subscription. Curated by daypart, with ads and jingles where the station's clocks put them.

  • Format design and refresh

For a new station or a change of direction: together we define the audience, the music identity, the categories and the clocks for each daypart.

  • Music database migration

We bring over your songs, categories and history from the system you already use. First we take a backup and run a test migration, so you see what comes across before anything changes.

  • Programming and audience consulting

How you stand against the competition and what is worth changing. We compare your schedule with the stations in your area and suggest changes with clear criteria.

  • Equipment and continuous flow

Advice on studio equipment and backup, so your station keeps playing even when something breaks.

From the first conversation to air

  1. You tell us about your station. Your audience, your current schedule and your goals. We show you samples from other stations and bring you a plan with goals.

  2. We check your database and automation. We take your music database and see how it connects to the automation system you already have.

  3. We build the format. Categories, clocks, rules. You see and approve them before they go to air.

  4. We deliver and refresh. Once or twice a week we send the schedule for the coming days, and we load the new songs onto the station's computer ourselves.
